2024 NEW Enrolments

Is your child/children intending to be a NEW Enrolment at our school in 2024?

We would appreciate all parents/caregivers that have children starting school in term 1 to enrol now so that we can sort out the classes and numbers for the start of 2024.

If your child currently attends New Lynn School, there is no need for you to re-enrol for 2024.

5 year old enrolments

Please enrol your child at least four weeks prior to their 5th birthday at our school office. We recommend that you bring your child to their enrolled classroom for one visit on Friday morning, from 8.30am until 12noon, before they are due to start school. This is so that you and your child will become more familiar with the classroom routines and their new teacher before starting school full-time. Your child should be in full school uniform (you can buy this from NZ Uniforms in New Lynn) and have their stationery (Matai 9 list) ready for their visit day.

Please remember to bring your child’s birth certificate.

All year-level enrolments

Once you have decided to enrol your child or children at New Lynn School we encourage you to report to the school office at 8.30am where our friendly office staff will show you and your child to their new classroom. Our compulsory school uniform, stationery, ICT website permission slips, and other requested information will be discussed with you at that time.
