Remote learning in Rimu syndicate

Hello Rimu Syndicate and whānau

We hope you are safe and well in your little bubbles.

Guess what? Today is the last day of the school holidays and tomorrow marks the first day of term two. This means that schools will be open for distance learning but not physically open for staff or students.

As a team, all of your lovely teachers have put together some work you can complete from home.

We have created a suggested timetable of learning which is completely optional and available for you should you choose to follow it. This timetable can be adapted to suit your needs or completely ignored.

We have also put together a task board with reading, writing and maths tasks that can be completed this week. Again, these are suggested ideas for you to use, adapt or ignore.

The timetable and tasks can be found on Seesaw or below this newsletter.

We understand that during this time some of us may be feeling under pressure or stress and some may also be feeling anxious and worried. With this in mind we would like to reassure you that the timetable and tasks are suggestions and not compulsory.

Your teachers are here for you and your families so feel free to message them at any time.
