Week 7- A big thank you to all the parents for supporting our camp trip.
Children had an amazing time at camp and they learnt a lot as well. This week we will be doing a lot of reflection on camp and writing about it.

Week 5 Reminder
Camp is just a few days so please organize the required camp equipment for your child. Your child has been given the camp equipment list. All health forms should have been returned.

What children will need to bring:

  • Dinner plate, bowl, mug and cutlery (all named) plastic
  • Sleeping bag or blankets and sheets and pillow
  • Warm clothing sweat shirt x 2, t shirts x 3, underwear x3, trousers x 2, shorts x 2, togs.
  • Extra clothing if needed
  • Sandshoes-sturdy footwear x2 (one pair will get wet)
  • Towels (2/3)
  • Toilet gear-toothbrush, tooth paste, soap, flannel
  • Sunhat and woollen hat
  • Drink bottle
  • Raincoat
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent
  • Medication if needed
  • Torch and batteries

Some reminders:

Homework- Please remind your child to complete homework tasks set and bring it to school.

Stationery: Please ensure that your child has correct stationery by the end of week 2, in particular pencil and A4 refill.

Attendance: It is important that your child is at school every day and is on time.

Uniforms: Please encourage your child to come to school in full uniform as it is compulsory to wear uniform. Also it will help if their uniforms are named with a fabric marker.

Camp: Camp payment is due if you still have not paid. Please organise camp equipment for your child.


Term 3 Events:

  • Rugby tournament on Wednesday week 2

  • NED show on Monday  week 2

  • Winter field day on Wednesday week 4

  • Seniors depart for camp on Wednesday 30th August and return on 1st September week 6

  • Transition for year 6 at Kelston Int. 15th Sept. week 8



Welcome back to Term 2

Week 10- Term 2 ends this week. Reminder about parent evening on Tuesday which will be from 1pm to 7pm. Hope to see you all. Science open day on Thursday 6th July from 2pm to 3pm.

Week 7- Last week for student teacher (Miss Chan).
R10 had a busy week 4- Pink Shirt day, Bike Safe, School Leaders workshop
         
   

Week 3:  This week R10 has been doing different experiments.  
              
Week 2: Miss Ivy Chan (student teacher) begins her practicum in R10.

Week 1 Reminders: School disco - Camp fundraiser on Friday 5th May. Please come along and support us with this event.

Week 10:  Camp Postponed 
After communication with the YMCA Camp Adair staff due to severe damage during the recent floods, the Year 5/6 Camp will need to be POSTPONED until a later date 30.8.17-1.9.17 (Term 3) 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but student safety is the most important factor in this decision to postpone the camp.

If you have any questions about these changes please contact your child's teacher.

Week 9 Reminders: To bring back permission slip for trip to New World. Camp payment due as well.

Week 8 Reminders: 6 weeks to go for Camp. Please begin paying if you have not yet made any payments.


Role Model Visit: Room 10 had the opportunity to meet Grace Rasmussen (Silver Ferns)
