Welcome to Room 8
Writing

This term we are learning about MY WORLD. As part of our study we took photos of one of the places that we learn, at our school. We used these photos as motivation to write a recount. Here are some of the photos we took.

Culture Day

We have a wide variety of cultures in our classroom and we want to learn as much about each other as possible, so we decided to have a culture day.

We found that we have a wide variety of Pacifica cultures, including Samoan, Tongan and Cook Island students.


We also had a few students from Asia. Including five Indian students as well as 2 Filipino students and Carolyn.



We enjoyed learning about where we and our families are from.
