New Lynn school is a growing urban primary school catering for the learning needs of students from age 5 to 11 years. New Lynn school was first established in 1888 and as a result has a rich history to share with its students. The school has large grounds with well established trees and beautiful gardens. Children are encouraged to be proud of their school and its historical heritage.

There is a professional staff of teachers at New Lynn School who have high expectations of your children and their learning. Teachers regularly are engaged in ongoing school wide professional development. We have high quality educational programmes and  high achievement occurring for all our students. This creates a strong learning community for both students teachers and parents.

At New Lynn we believe that education is a life long process which is a shared partnership between school and home.
