Experimenting with Photostory
Techsperts have been trailing different ideas to present a photostory. Here are 4 for you to enjoy:
Project One - Design a Poster
We are learning to:
- Use Microsoft Publisher to design a poster
- Search and download images using Google Image Search
- Insert blocks of colour and add shading for special effect
- Change font size and colour
- Use Marvin Software to retell a popular fairytale
- Load characters
- Add animation and movement to characters
- Use voice recording to make the characters speak
- Problem solve errors in the script
Project Three - Lego Mindstorm Robotics
We are learning to:
- Be responsible for equipment
- Read instructions carefully to build robots using lego pieces
- Use software to program the robots to move forwards, backwards, left and right
- Use software to program the robots to sense sound, light, and objects in it's path
- Problem solve errors in construction and programming
Our Techsperts Group spent one day putting together our robots. During our Techsperts lunchtime session each week we will be learning how to programme our robots to dance, move in time to clapping and do what we ask.... It is so much fun working with robotics at school.
